With a Master of Arts in Counseling and a background in both school and professional counseling, I bring a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to all aspects of my work. My sessions integrate evidence-based mental health practices with somatic and energetic healing modalities like yoga, breathwork, Reiki, meditation, and sound. I believe true healing happens when we treat the whole person—not just symptoms. My style is non-judgmental, compassionate, and deeply intuitive. I work to create a safe space where clients and students can reconnect with themselves, regulate their nervous systems, and process emotional blocks through both talk therapy and embodied practices. Whether through counseling, yoga, or energy healing, my goal is always the same: to help you come home to yourself.I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, burnout, and individuals seeking mind-body-spirit alignment. I’m also currently expanding my work through advanced training in somatic healing and yoga therapy.—
See you on the mat!

Yoga Teacher & MS Wellness Advocate
In 1998, I was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis—a turning point that brought with it profound physical, emotional, and mental challenges. Navigating the uncertainty of this diagnosis led me through a period of deep depression and soul-searching. I knew I needed to find a way not only to manage my symptoms, but to heal from past and present trauma, and to reclaim a sense of wholeness in my body, mind, and spirit.
In 2011, I discovered yoga—and everything began to shift. What started as a simple practice became a transformative path toward healing, self-compassion, and resilience. Inspired by the impact yoga had on my life, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2012, determined to share this powerful tool with others.
Soon after beginning to teach, I realized how valuable chair yoga could be for individuals living with MS, chronic illness, or mobility challenges. Since 2017, I’ve been leading accessible chair yoga classes in the St. Charles area and proudly working with MS Bright Spots of Hope, a nonprofit supporting people living with MS and their care partners across the U.S. Through this work, I’ve developed inclusive, compassionate yoga classes that anyone can participate in—right from the comfort and stability of a chair.
My mission is simple: to make yoga accessible to every body. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, breath, and mindfulness—especially those who’ve been told that yoga isn’t for them.
Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, exploring new ways to move, or simply looking to feel more at home in your body, I look forward to sharing the gift of yoga with you—with love, patience, and support.
